For gyms, personal trainers and members

Training that adjusts to the person doing it.

loadwise starts with a health screen and a short assessment, recommends a programme, then changes the reps and weights from what each person actually logs.

Pilot places are open to gyms, coaches and individual members in the UK.

Stronger over time

Progress you can see, week after week.

Every logged set feeds the next session, so the plan keeps pace with the person following it, whether that is a first-week member or a runner building toward race day.

Who it is for

One app, three ways to use it.

Gyms offer it to members, coaches run their clients on it, and anyone can use it on their own.

Gyms

Give every new member a proper start and a plan that keeps pace with them.

  • Onboarding assessment that turns goals and fitness level into a recommended programme
  • Programmes built from templates your coaches approve
  • Groups and squads, coaches, roles and locations
  • Challenges and milestones that keep members coming back
  • Branded progress reports

loadwise sits alongside your booking, access and billing systems. It does not replace them.

Personal trainers

Spend your time coaching, not rebuilding spreadsheets every week.

  • Template and programme builder, assigned to clients in a few taps
  • Client list that flags missed sessions, pain reports and high training load
  • Weight and rep suggestions from every logged set, which you can override
  • Messaging and check-ins
  • Weekly plans built around matches, exams and busy weeks

Payments for coaching are planned for a later release.

Members

Know what to lift today and why, whether or not you have a coach.

  • Health screen and starting assessment
  • Recommended programme for your goal, kit and available days
  • Workout player with exercise videos and form cues
  • Suggestions for the next session based on what you logged
  • Progress charts and a re-assessment every few weeks

Download all of your data or delete your account whenever you like.

How it works

From first login to the next heavier set.

The same five steps for a gym member, a coached client or someone training alone.

  1. Screen

A short health questionnaire comes first. If an answer needs a professional opinion, loadwise pauses and points to a GP or coach before any plan is made.

  2. Assess

Goals, training history, injuries, kit, available days and a few simple baseline tests.

  3. Recommend

A starting programme chosen from approved templates, with the reasons shown. A coach can swap it.

  4. Train and log

A workout player records every set, with an optional effort rating, and a quick readiness check before the session.

  5. Adjust

The next session reflects the last one. Every few weeks a re-assessment checks the plan still fits the person.

Progression

Simple rules first, effort ratings once they help.

Suggestions come from clear rules you can read and a coach can overrule. Nothing is a black box.

Reps first

Each exercise has a rep range, for example 8 to 12. Reach the top of the range on every set and the weight goes up. Fall short and the weight stays while you build reps.

Effort ratings come in after a few weeks

New lifters begin on reps alone. Once they are comfortable judging how many reps they had left, effort ratings (RPE and reps in reserve) refine the suggestion, so a set that was a grind does not trigger an increase.

Extra care for young athletes

Under-18s get smaller jumps, no one-rep-max testing and coach approval for changes.

Privacy and young people

Health data handled with care.

loadwise is built for UK data protection law from the start, including the ICO Children's Code.

Only the right people see it

A client's record is held by their gym or coach, and only the coaches assigned to that client can open it. People training on their own keep a private record of their own.

Separate consent for health data

Health information needs its own explicit, unticked consent, and every consent records the exact version of the policy that was agreed to.

A record of every change

An audit log records who changed a client's record and when, so access can always be checked.

Rules for under-18s

Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to give consent through an emailed link before any training data is stored, and the parent can withdraw it later. Under-13s are off unless a gym or coach turns them on.

Export and delete

Members can download a copy of everything held about them at any time and ask for their account to be deleted.

No advertising trackers

No ad or analytics SDKs run on client data. Hosting is in the UK or EU.

Help shape loadwise in the pilot.

We are working with a small number of gyms, coaches and individual members before opening up more widely. Tell us who you are, how many people you train and what you use today.
